Everest is known as the death taking mountain because when trekkers reach at the top or near the top, oxygen starts decreasing – 280 peoples have died till now while trekking on the Everest.

Mount Everest is the highest mountain in the world. Everest is known by every Hollywood lover because a Hollywood movie name " Everest " was released in 2015 featuring the hazards and risks of the Mount Everest. Mount Everest is in Nepal and Tibet – Everest was first announced as the highest mountain in 1856 with the height of 8,848 meters. Every year thousands of tourists from far across the world come to see the beauty of Everest and its belonging mountains beside that there are many people that come with the wish to reach the summit of Everest mountain. Mount everest was first climbed by two friends Tenzing Norgay and Edmund Hillary in 1953.

2. K2 Mountain

K2 Mountain is located in Koh-Karakoram, In between Pakistan and China and is also know as Mount Godwin-Austen – it is the second highest mountain in the world with the height of 8,611 metres. K2 Mountain has many difficulties noted while climbing to the summit so that's why it is called as the savage mountain. K2 Mountain was climbed by two italian individual Mountaineers named Lino Lacedelli and Achille Compagnoni. K2 Mountain is very dangerous mountain 83 noted mountaineers have died during climbing to the summit of the K2 Mountain and many got injured.

Kangchenjunga is the 3rd highest mountain in the world.It is located in Himalayas, In between India and Nepal border. Height of Kangchenjunga is 8,586 meter and the native mountain of Kangchenjunga is Mount Everest and. This mountain was first climbed by two english mountaineers Joe Brown and George Band.The atmosphere of Kangchenjunga is moist and that's why mountaineers avoid to climb this mountain.Many online forums are debating on reaching  the summit – the conclusion of debate is that its hard to reach on the summit of the Kangchenjunga because of long distance and temperature reasons.

4. Lhotse

Lhotse is not very famous like mount everest or K2 mountain but it is higher enough to touch the leaderboard of top 5 highest mountains. Lhotse is located along with mount everest in Himalaya, In between Nepal and China border. Lhotse is 8,516 meter high and it is not very famous for hill climbing but thousands of mountaineers visit Lhotse every year to break previous world records of hill climbing. Lhoste was first climbed by Fritz Luchsinger and Ernst Reiss in 1956.

5. Makalu

Makalu mountain is along with all other highest mountain in Himalayas – its height is 8,485 meter, all these mountains when you see from any native mountains will look like the same but these mountains were separated with different names. Makalu mountain was first climbed by two french mountaineers Lionel Terray and Jean Cousy in 1955.It is very famous for its short distance hill climb from bottom to summit.Glaciers of makalu are very dangerous – many mountaineers were killed in the last century with glacier slides on makalu.
